NRSWA (Street Works) Operator and Supervisor

Designed for Operators and Supervisors who carry out excavation, backfill and reinstatement of various materials for undertaking street works.

Under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), any person or organisation undertaking work on a street or public roadway has a duty to ensure the work is carried out under the control of a competent person. To qualify, workers must hold a Streetworks card.

Duration: 5 days.

 

   Aims and objectives

At the end of the instruction the candidates will have the skills and knowledge to perform operative duties to City and Guilds standards relating to the NRSW Act 1991, including:
